Rugged Pop artist, Alexa Ferr has released a new cover of Miley Cyrus’ “Adore You” from her RCA Records debut Bangerz. Alexa’s cover features a behind-the-scenes studio clip of Alexa recording the song in a black and white video montage. This cover comes after Alexa asked fans to suggest covers to record, which will be released throughout the next few weeks. Fans can download the cover on Soundcloud
Alexa Ferr first gained her start in the music industry with the release of her single “Fell” which features Mathew “M dot” Finely who’s predominately known for his role in Disney Channel’s Camp Rock 2. A triple threat, who not only sings but also dances and acts, Alexa has been incorporating her dance background into her live shows.

Though its members have roots in such far-flung locales as Brazil, Greece, Thailand, and Southeast Asia, Saints of Valory came together in Austin, Texas and immediately made a name for themselves with their distinctive concoction of rock hooks and contemporary pop songcraft. Released November 2010, the band’s independent debut EP, “THE BRIGHT LIGHTS,” showcased the breakout single, “Providence,” which soon made its way to the top 50 at Triple A radio outlets nationwide, marking Saints of Valory as the only unsigned band in the upper reaches of the chart.
Named as a finalist in the Billboard Music Awards’ 2012 “Battle of the Bands” competition, Saints of Valory soon joined forces with F-Stop/Atlantic Records and began work recording their debut album alongside superstar producer/engineer Joe Chiccarelli. “POSSIBILITIES,” the band’s label debut EP, arrived in July 2013, highlighted by the anthemic melodies of songs like “Kids” and “Neon Eyes (Into The Deep).” The latter track reached the top 10 at AAA radio, while its companion video was featured on MTV Buzzworthy.
An electrifying live act, Saints of Valory will trumpet “V” with a busy tour schedule, including performances at Coachella, slated for April 12th and 19th. The band will also team up with singer/songwriter Eric Hutchinson for his upcoming “Tell The World Tour,” presented by Ones To Watch with Skype. Martinez – who is also currently hard at work finishing her eagerly awaited debut album alongside such collaborators as Robopop (Jessie J, Lana Del Rey) and the aforementioned Kinetics & One Love – has been hailed as a provocative singer, songwriter, and visual presence. The song “positions Martinez as an American version of Lorde,” writes Newsday. “(Martinez) sings about a picture-perfect family that is much more troubled under the surface,” declared Us Weekly, noting that Martinez – a former contestant on NBC’s smash reality singing competition series, The Voice – “might be the show’s first real breakout star.” The Long Island, New York-native captured the country’s imagination with her arresting performances on the highly rated Fall 2012 season of NBC’s The Voice, driving her unique renditions of “Too Close” and “Seven Nation Army” to top 5 sales on the iTunes Store. In addition, Martinez’ rendition of “Toxic” lit YouTube on fire, earning more than 6 million individual page views.
Roadrunner/604 recording group Theory Of A Deadman has unveiled details of their hugely anticipated new album. “SaVages” – which follows 2011’s chart-topping “THE TRUTH IS…” – arrives everywhere on July 8th.
“SaVages” is heralded by the fiery new single, “Drown,” a snippet of which can be heard now in a video teaser streaming at www.theoryofadeadman.com. Produced by longtime collaborator Howard Benson (Halestorm, My Chemical Romance), the single arrives at multi-format rock radio outlets across the country on April 22nd, the same day the track goes on sale on iTunes.
Tyler Connolly, vocalist and guitarist of Theory Of A Deadman commented, “We went back to where we belong on this record, back to the angst, back to the darkness. We veered off the road a bit on this one but it took us right to where we needed to be.” Connolly expanded further on the band’s inspiration behind “Drown” stating, “‘Drown’ is about being alone, the feeling of being washed away and left to your own devices. We’ve all felt that way at some point in our lives; unable to stay afloat, we sink to the bottom which always seems easier in the end than fighting your way back to the surface.”
“THE TRUTH IS…” made an explosive top 10 debut into the SoundScan/Billboard 200 upon its initial 2011 release while also coming in at #1 on the “Top Rock Albums,” “Top Alternative Albums,” and “Top Hard Rock Albums” charts. The album – Theory Of A Deadman’s fourth – yielded a series of multi-format radio blockbusters, including “Bitch Came Back,” “Hurricane,” and the #1 smash, “Lowlife,” which spent three consecutive weeks at #1 on Rock radio airplay charts nationwide.
For more than a decade, Theory Of A Deadman has been among the most distinctive and popular bands in hard rock history, combining frank, earnest lyricism and extraordinary melodies with massive power and electrifying dynamics. With singer/songwriter Tyler Connolly at the helm, the Vancouver-based band has earned a fervent fan following as well as a long line of multi-format hits, among them the #1 Mainstream Rock breakthrough, “Bad Girlfriend” (found on 2008’s RIAA platinum certified “SCARS & SOUVENIRS”).
Like any hard rock outfit worth its salt, Theory Of A Deadman has spent much of its existence on the road.
